Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is an adorable gray/silver tabby female cat. She is estimated to have been born in the spring or summer of 2023. She showed up as a stray looking for help and appears to have spent some time outdoors. Lucy is a sweet friendly girl who quickly warmed up to new humans and the other foster cats. She is just starting to show some personality as she gets more comfortable.

Lucy will only be adopted as an indoor family pet. She has been spayed, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all her age-appropriate shots. We spay/neuter all of our adult pets before adoption. Adoption fees begin at $95 for dogs, but vary depending upon the desirability of the dog, purebreds, etc. Each foster home interviews and decides upon the adoptive families for the pet.

We simply have a cell phone, 4 or 5 foster homes and up to this point advertise on Petfinder. Swift County has no other means to help the animal population in need. Many people in rural areas simply don't care much about animal welfare, so a few of us have to!
