Hi! My name is ELVIS the handsome husky and being in the shelter really gives me the BLUES. I`ve been here for only a short time, but I`m a little famous with our officers. Why? Well, my previous owners didn`t give me enough attention and I hate being left alone and get bored. So I decided to let myself out of the yard and go for a stroll! And I kept getting out and taking myself for walks. Over and over again.
But that`s all behind me. Now? I`m available at the shelter and ready for a new life with a new family who is ready to include me in EVERYTHING. As a social butterfly I love meeting people and going places (so I am not a fan of being in a kennel here at the shelter). I walk well on leash, know `sit`, and am generally a big friendly ball of fuzz with a bright smile and a sunny outlook on life. Also tummy rubs and squeaky toys are the best. Please remember- I`ve got a past as an escapee! So make sure your yard is secure or else I might go out on a solo adventure if you leave me all alone and I get bored.
The shelter doesn`t know how I do with dogs but as a rule, huskies aren`t great with cats and small animals. But if you have a dog, bring them to the shelter and we can meet! If you think it`s a good match, I can come home with you as a foster 2 adopt. It`s easily- the shelter gives you supplies and I come home with you to see if I`m a good fit for your family. When you`re ready to commit, I`m all yours.
