My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cindy!

Cindy is a 14 month old Healer/Shepard mix. She is fully vaccinated and heart worm negative. Cindy has been in a foster home with our former AC officer since she was a puppy. Cindy can be shy at first but just wants love and attention. She is dog friendly and loves taking naps on the couch. Cindy loves to be outside in the sun and chase tennis balls with her dog buddies. She is not cat friendly. Cindy is spayed and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

More about this rescue

Our small, volunteer based, non-profit was formed in September 2023. Our city run shelter was grossly underfunded so we stepped in to fundraise and financially assist with vet care, transports, and food for the animals at the shelter. In January 2024, our city council decided to no longer fund the animal control department. Since that time, we have continued to assist with the care of animals in our community. Our goals are to find fantastic forever homes for these amazing dogs and focus on spaying and neutering homeless animals in effort to greatly reduce the vicious cycle of unwanted litters born on the street.
