My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rachel Zane: Your Autumn Attorney at Paw

Move over, Meghan Markle-our Rachel Zane is here to steal the spotlight (and maybe a piece of your pumpkin pie). With one blue eye and one brown eye, she's a showstopper who's always keeping an eye on the prize (and the treats).

Medium-sized and packed with personality, Rachel's got the charm of a courtroom drama and the playful energy of a fall festival. She's aced Dog Door 101, heading outside like a pro when nature calls-no objections here! And when it comes to her doggie roommates, she's the best in the business, managing playtime like a seasoned mediator.

Rachel's ready for long autumn walks, leaf-peeping, and maybe a cozy night by the fire with her forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's as unique as a crisp fall day, Rachel Zane is your girl. Just be warned: she's bound to win your heart faster than you can say "pumpkin spice!

Adopt Rachel Zane and add a little fall magic to your life!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
