My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolly arrived here as stray.  We do not have any history for her.

Dolly was afraid when she first arrived BUT has blossomed and has become the shelter goofball.  She loves toys, walks good on leash, may already be house trained and seems fine to be in a crate as well. We guess her to be about 1-2 yrs old.  Dolly is 62 lbs and should not get any bigger.

We do not know how well she does with other dogs but she reacts ok to them through the gate and fences here.  If you have another dog she will need to meet them before adoption is approved.

Anyone interested in her must meet her and complete an application to be considered.  (our app is not online).

Here is a Tiktok video of her:

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
