Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mavery is a beautiful lab mix girl, a little over 9 months old. Mavery is golden with white markings. She loves toys and especially enjoys shredding stuffies! She enjoys a good chew bone too. She is good with other dogs. She likes attention from people, but prefers to approach you, not have you reach out to her. Adoption fee $75 can be waived for the right home.
Foster notes: Mavery ("Mave" for short) prefers to spend most of her days outside, playing with her littermates. She especially likes Ledger. As her foster, at this time, I feel Mavery would do best in a home where she has a doggie door, can come inside to get out of the weather (hot or cold) and still spend as much time as she chooses outside. She has a wading pool and a mister currently as well as lots of shade trees and 5 other pups her age to play with. She is fearful of a leash and collar. I do feel someone skilled and patient at working with shy dogs could work with her she would be more trusting. Mavery would be excellent 'alert' dog, letting you know if strangers are approaching.
