This unique boy is a fun fellow with one brown eye and one white eye, one ear up and one ear down and an adorable white stripe down the middle of his face that makes him look like 2 dogs in one. Greyson is okay with other dogs and can become very vocal when playing which does not sit well with all dogs. When he is told to stop he walks away. Once he begins trusting his person, he is a loyal companion who will follow you and rest when you rest. Greyson is a low-key fellow with a haunting expression.
Greyson is very comfortable going in his crate and is well-behaved when left loose in the house. Cats are too enticing for Greyson and he cannot contain his excitement so a home without cats is preferred.
Greyson deserves an individual or family that will love him and provide him with a calm and safe home and he will be your best friend.
Greyson is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Approve Application
Our application checkers will review the information you submitted. This step takes approximately 5 business days.

Meet the Pet
You will be invited to meet with the pet, usually at one of our Saturday adoption events: https://www.arf-il.org/events/

Sign Adoption Contract
We’ll walk you through the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours!

You're welcome to send an inquiry, but fortunately our animals move quickly so the animal may be adopted by the time you inquire.
You will be screened to ensure that:
You understand the life long responsibility of adopting and caring for a pet.
All household members consent to the decision to adopt.
Adopting a pet will not result in a violation of your lease. If you live in an apartment, we do ask that you provide us with a copy of the lease or obtain a letter of approval from your landlord.
You are 18 years or older to adopt a pet from us.
The temperament of the animal you are interested in is conducive to your lifestyle and home environment.
Agree to our adoption fees*:
Dogs: $200
Kittens: 6 months and younger $150
Cats: Older than 6 months $110
Mama cats: $95
*Unless otherwise noted in pet listing or adoption contract.
