My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover is the sweetest husky mix boy. He is almost 2 years old and has lots of energy. At only 35lbs., he is onthe small side for a husky. Clover is so loving and is obsessed with cuddling! He is good with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with large breed dogs and various-age foster cats. Although he does live with cats, he does have a prey drive. Understanding that he is still a young dog, he does better with the younger teenage playful kittens versus the older adults. The more outgoing the cat, the better the relationship he can have with them as it will limit the chasing. He does great around children as well. He is learning basic commands and responds well to treats training. Clover is housebroken and crate trained. Being that he is still young, providing him with ample toys and safe chew bones is a must. He loves flavored bones and squeaky toys, which he is very good about not shredding. He is great on a leash and in the car. We are requiring a secure minimum 6-ft. fenced-in yard for him. He will need supervision in the beginning whenever he is outside, since it will be a new place and he won't know it is his home. Clover is medium energy, loves to play, and will thrive in a home with an active-lifestyle family who can include him in outdoor activities and will provide him with structure and enrichment toys. He will benefit from obedience classes as well. Another large playful dog in the home would help him with his socialization and need for play. Huskies are generally intelligent, loyal and loving companions, but they are not a breed that can be left alone all day. Overall, Clover is the best dogy and will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
