Sweet Curly was saved from being euthanized. Curly is currently very fearful and scared of his surroundings. However, we are committed to helping him overcome his fears, and we believe that, given time, he will improve.
Curly is particularly sensitive to noise, and a calm, quiet environment would be ideal for him. It's recommended that he be placed in a home without young children but with a female dog to provide him with reassurance and support.
Curly needs a patient and understanding owner who can help him build confidence and trust. Although he's frightened and hesitant to interact at the shelter, he is a sweet dog who longs for companionship and care. Additionally, Curly could benefit from a good brushing, but his fear prevents us from touching him. With the right approach, Curly has the potential to become a loving and affectionate companion in the future.
Curly would benefit from going to a home with another dog to get out of his shell. He likes both boys and girls. Curly will need someone who has a lot of time and patience to help him. He came to us about 8 months ago. He needs a good routine, and he needs to know that he is safe.
Curly is not aggressive at all but just very scared. Give him a chance that he has never had before. He needs a foster who can be very patient with him and not rush him with anything.

More about this rescue
The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
