My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ashley is like a beautiful black diamond ! She has a beautiful black coat and it shines! Ashley and her sisters were dumped on a busy road on April Fools' Day- no joke! She is the pretty black one! Black Labs make the greatest pets and she is ready to show you just that ! She is happy and healthy and is a great age to have her join your family! She rides well in the car and walks great on a leash. She is fully vetted and is such a sweet girl!- Spayed and Heartworm negative!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
