Woof! Hi there, I'm Arnold, a 2-year-old coonhound mix with a heart as big as my paws. Weighing in at over 70 pounds, I'm quite the big boy, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a giant goofball at heart.
I love being outside, feeling the wind in my fur and the sun on my back. There's nothing quite like it. The shelter volunteers are great and they take good care of me, giving me lots of treats (which I absolutely love), but being cooped up in my kennel can be pretty stressful. I just need more chances to stretch my legs and explore the great outdoors.
I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash. I pull a lot, but that's just because I haven't had much practice yet. I'm a strong boy, but with a little patience and some training, I'm sure I can learn to be a great walking buddy.
I'm really good with the shelter volunteers and I just want to show everyone how sweet I can be. I have a lot of love to give, and I know there's a perfect family out there for me. I just need a chance to show what a good boy I really am.
So, if you're looking for a big, lovable goofball to join your family, I'm your guy. Come meet me and let's see if we can be best friends forever!Fill out an adoption application online at: https://www.hshcky.org/
