I've had Winter since she was 3 months old and now she'll be 4 years old this December 2024. I was single when I got her and she is 1 of 3 dogs I have. I've worked with dogs for over a decade and for awhile she was my dog training prodigy. However, I've moved away from that career, got married, and have a 1 year old daughter now. My wife and I love Winter, but she is just too much now and is going to make finding a new place to live much harder.
Winter can have resource guarding episodes with other dogs, otherwise she happily lives with 2 others, including a chihuahua. She can also be very reactive on leash. She needs a firm owner who can expend her energy. She is actually pretty low energy overall but acts out when bored.
She loves her crate and when consistent is very good with obedience. She is a clown and I know someone will love her. We just can't give her what she needs and though she has been good with the baby, we never know. She is too big for the risk.
