Would you like to build a snowman? Meet Olaf! This little snowman may look like he’s from the frozen North, but he’s so warm he’ll melt your heart. He’s still a little shy around people, but if you have food, you’ll have him eating out of your hand in no time. He takes food so gently, you would think he’d been hand-fed his whole life. But that isn’t his story. This little guy was rescued from a neighborhood where other domestic bunnies roam because he was the one who approached the people living in one of the houses. One of those kind people works at a veterinary office and had a hope for a better life for the young bunny who’d had some tough times and seemed to be reaching out to her. She caught him, got his medical care underway, and put in the call to Rabbit Advocates. This shy, gentle boy is looking for a forever home where he can be safe and loved and come out of his shell a little more. He was likely born in the Spring of 2022, and is fully-grown at about 5 lbs. Olaf is a sweet guy with a ton of character and sheer grit. He was roughed up from his time on the streets and is left with a “lucky” ear as a result. He is all healed up and his scars are part of what makes him unique. He still has mud-stained fur on the bottom of his paws, but once he goes through a big seasonal shed, he will be back to snowy white. No more hopping around in mud for this little snowman! Olaf might even have superpowers, too, because he can escape his enclosure. His foster family is convinced he can fly when they’re not looking. Do you have the perfect home for Olaf? Grab your winter coat, gloves, scarf, and hat and head to the Rabbit Advocates website to learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application! https://rabbitadvocates.org/adoption
