My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the cutest most well behaved 2 yr old lil' fella this side of the Mississippi. Poor Scruffy McDuffy was found completely matted and wandering all alone in the Kentucky countryside until a good samaritan found him and took him to the local shelter where he would be safe and fed. Once they shaved his matted fur they found a large old scar, which is completely healed, but who knows what happened. Though he's been through so much he remains very sweet & gentle.

He gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings and resident kitty, in fact he ignores the kitty. He's very smart and walks extremely well on a leash. He's completely housebroken and crate trained. He's a pretty quiet guy that only seems to bark when someone is walking by the house. He's a relatively laid back guy who would really enjoy having someone take him on car rides (weather permitting) and walks to meet people and other canines.

His forever family will love him lots and make him the center of their universe and I guarantee he will reciprocate with much love and devotion. If you think you can offer this fine gentleman a happy, secure, loving forever home then please apply. He would do best in a home with children over the age 13.
