My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dairy Queen, a 2-year-old female Lab mix whose journey is the perfect "rags to riches" story! Starting life as a backyard dog, she lived exclusively outside and contracted heartworms. But Dairy Queen's life turned around when she became the star of our foster program, where she's excelled in learning everything her foster family has taught her.

Now having completed heartworm treatment and ready for her forever home, Dairy Queen is crate trained, knows several commands, and loves meeting new people. Her heart is as big as the Grand Canyon, and she's ready to share all of her love with her new family. Plus, Dairy Queen's lucky adopters will receive a free heartworm test nine months after her last treatment date.

If you're ready to change this sweet girl's world, Dairy Queen is ready to join your family!
