My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Pickles! I'm young and full of life. I have a sweet and friendly personality that's sure to make you smile. I love a good chin scratch, but I'm also quite independent, happy to entertain myself with a ball of yarn or a window view. I'm gentle and loyal, always ready to sit by your side when you need a friend. I'm a great listener, too. I may not understand all your words, but I promise to be there, purring softly, providing comfort. So why should you adopt me? Because every home is better with a Pickles in it. I'll bring joy, companionship, and unconditional love. Can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
