Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stewie!
Quick Facts:
Breed: Great Dane Mix
Estimated Birthday: 10/16/2022
Size: Currently 84#, we imagine he may fill out around 115-125#.
Hi, I’m Stewie, an affectionate, gentle Great Dane! I’m not sure of my exact birthday, but I’m about 1.5 years old. Putting the Great in Dane, I’m already a big boy (84 pounds), but since I’m on the younger side, I’ve got a bit more growing to do (might get to 115-125 pounds). Lots of people say my spots look cool!
My human unfortunately brought me to a kill shelter, so I’m happy to be with C2Cnd now, but I really want a forever home where I can play and cuddle with my beloved human (I’m a fan of hugging and sharing good TV shows). I love being with people all the time and getting petted. I especially like men. I haven’t met any kids yet, but the humans who know me think I’d be fine with older kids (10 and up). I haven’t yet met a cat. I’m friendly with other dogs (feel submissive around them), play well with them and like to feel a part of the pack. Just don’t let other dogs get near my food bowl – it’s mine! It’s OK to give me a treat with other dogs though – I don’t mind sharing at treat time.
I have lots of energy and love to run. Since I’m large, I do need a fence that’s at least 4’ tall. When I’m worn out from all that fun exercise, one thing that makes me happy is taking a nap in the sun. Gosh those sun rays make me sleepy!
I’m a good listener. Even though I’m a young pup, I know a whole bunch of commands. I can already do “sit,” “stay,” “shake,” “leave it,” “down” and of course “no.” Got that down! This means I’m a good learner. And I can learn more! I walk well on my leash as long as my human is in control (yeah, I sometimes need correcting – ya’ know, I’m still young). I don’t chew on things (barely even my toys). And I don’t mind going to the vet. Sometimes when I’m eating, my front leg cramps up and hurts. I don’t know why, but it doesn’t bother me other times. Oh yeah, and I’m house trained (except when I pee, it dribbles onto my front legs) and crate trained.
I’d love to meet you!
