Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CAPE MAY COUNTY, NY: Happy lady Roxy Roo is 7 years old and weighs 55 lbs. Found as a stray, she unfortunately landed at an overcrowded shelter in New York City, where her name was Houndoom. She was quite popular when she was rescued from the euthanasia list in September 2022. But this total sweetheart has been patiently waiting for her forever home ever since. Roxy Roo is such a good girl with so much love to give! She truly LOVES life as she shines exuberantly. Roxy Roo is highly social and friendly when meeting new people. Roxy Roo likes most dogs – especially fun, loving, playful pups like herself – but no small dogs or cats for her, please.
Roxy Roo is not just a pretty face either – she is small in stature (some might use the affectionate term “lowrider”) but also a strong girl, so initially she will need someone who can handle her to go on walks. However, she would absolutely thrive in a home with a fenced in yard and would provide endless entertainment just by being her fun, playful self!
Roxy Roo is a stunningly beautiful dog with perfect bully features – and when she smiles, her tongue is almost as wide as her head! She is a great dog and perfect for any bully lover! Has Roxy Roo been patiently waiting for you?
Please contact AmsterDog at 917-689-8414 (texts ok) or by e-mail at info@amsterdog.org for more information. Apply to adopt Roxy Roo at AmsterDog.org.
Thanks for caring about a pet in need!

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.
