Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you in search of a wonderful first dog, perhaps even considering your first bully breed? Meet Derby! This playful pup is around a year and a half old and weighs a compact 50 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized dog. Derby is full of energy but also loves to lounge in the yard or on the couch. He gets along well with other dogs, is calm around cats, and is a dream on walks without pulling on the leash. Derby adores car rides and would be the ideal companion for road trips or running errands. He's crate trained, quiet, and enjoys playing tug of war and soaking up the sun outdoors. Derby is friendly and gentle with kids, making him a wonderful addition to any family. Derby has completed his vet care and is good to go! His adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.
