For The Cats' Sake
M EADOW is a two year old Tortoiseshell but without the Torti-tude they sometimes have. She came to us as a little kitten two years ago, and her very feral mom. Little Meadow was a real momma's baby, and her mom was super protective, so it took us longer to really socialize her due to that dynamic. Her mom was really miserable inside, being a true feral, and we decided she would be happier to go to a good barn home. MEADOW on the other hand was still young so we chose to work with her. It took a little while, but she is now friendly with other cats and people. She's not going to jump up on your lap, but is loving and beautiful. We hope there are some Tortie lovers out there, who might add this sweet girl to their family!
ONLINE ADOPTION FORM: https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152
We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group of at least $80. On average, we spend $200 to cover food, litter, spay/neuter, testing, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care or medicine needed. Adopters donate $80 or more, as they choose, to cover cat's expenses, and help our rescue continue to treat and find homes for more cats. This flexible policy makes it possible for people to adopt more than one cat or multiple barn cats. â¨â¨ CAT EXPENSES:⨠Spay/neuter $75 to $150. â¨Rabies and FVRCP $50. â¨Test for FiV and FeLV $35. â¨Microchip $25 (adopter registers for life for $30) â¨Wellness check at vet $50. â¨Flea treatments and deworming $40. â¨Any additional vet care or medications needed.⨠Food and litter $40 upwards, depending on time of stay.
