My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I'm LaRue, your future fun-loving feline friend. I've got a zest for life that's hard to match. I'm a bit of a goofball, but that's part of my charm. I love to play and my energy knows no bounds. I've been told I'm quite the comedian, always ready with a funny antic to brighten your day. But don't let my playfulness fool you, I've got a sweet side too. I love being petted, but on my terms. Independent? You bet! I'm not your average kitten, I like to do things my way. But don't worry, I'm not too aloof. I enjoy a good cuddle, when I'm in the mood. Why should you adopt me? Well, with me around, life will never be dull. I'll keep you entertained, make you laugh, and provide endless affection. I promise to be the best friend you never knew you needed. So, are you ready to add a little laughter and love to your life with me, LaRue?

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
