My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


We adopted Roxy from Heritage Farms Rescue in late 2018, she was 1 yrs old and is now just over 7. She’s 30 lbs. Roxy is the sweetest dog and is an absolute joy. Roxy is a total people person and VERY affectionate. Shes great on walks, leashed in public or unleashed in open countryside. She’ll sleep at the foot of your bed, in your bed or in a kennel, whichever you prefer.

With our youngest going off to college this fall, my wife and I traveling for work frequently, Roxy will often be home alone. We’re over ridden w guilt because of this and want to find an adoptive home who will love her and spend time with her as we have. We’re hopeful to find the right home for her by the fall season of this year. There is no immediate rush on our end. We’re open to letting her spend some time with her adopting parents for a “trial” period if requested.
