My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Warrior was extremely emaciated when he came to us and in need of a lot of gentle, loving care and food. He doesn't always photograph well because he’s full of wiggles and joy but he’s doing well. He’s gained some weight but still has a ways to go!

He was rather dog selective when he was emaciated, but as he gets healthier you can tell he feels better too, because he's so happy-go-lucky now and much more playful with most dogs. Warrior absolutely LOVES people and will wiggle his body so hard when he meets a new one. He loves attention and pets and will hound howl to get your attention if he feels he's not getting the appropriate amount of loving.

Warrior is doing well with house training and has not had any accidents in several weeks! He's not the sharpest tool in the shed though so he will definitely need some positive encouragement to learn your routine in a new home. He is however, eager to please and will surely pick it up in no time. More advanced requests though, might take a bit more patience!

Warrior is microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm tested negative, and neutered. He has also been dewormed and is current on monthly prevention.
