Alfie is a handsome adult neutered male brown and white tabby Domestic Longhair cat.
He is currently in foster care, and is available for adoption now!
Alfie is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to give head butts, make biscuits, play with wand toys, purr loudly, and look out the window. Alfie also loves to be brushed! He has been through a lot recently, and takes a while to open up, but once he does you'll be rewarded with his love and affection. Alfie would prefer a quieter home, preferably without young children or dogs. He is scared of loud noises and may hide initially until he feels safe. He loves wet food and that goes a long way in gaining his trust! He does well with other cats with a proper introduction. He is micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, and neutered.

Please see our website: www.catscradleva.org for a copy of our adoption application and adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, but generally run around $135.
All our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, and fully vetted. We have an adoption center in Harrisonburg, but we also make extensive use of foster homes until adoption.
We generally prefer indoor only homes, and our contract specifies that the cat(s) will not be de-clawed.
We have some cats that cannot be adopted into an indoor situation. For these, we seek safe barn or out-building locations.

More about this rescue
Founded in 1998, Cat’s Cradle seeks to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable cats and dogs in Shenandoah Valley through aggressive spay/neuter of owned animals and TNR (trap/neuter/release) of feral cats.
We also have a network of foster parents and an active adoption program for cats. In 2009 we opened an adoption center in Harrisonburg. We do not euthanize for space.
Please visit our website at: www.catscradleva.org for more information.
