Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Queenie!
Get ready to fall in love! My name is Queenie and I have a heart of gold and am absolutely ready for my forever home! I'm a fluffy, spunky lady who is a golden oldie, weighing 90 pounds, and happily greets you when you come home and wants nothing more than to be loved by my forever family. I am quite friendly, easy-going, and gentle. I haven't been tested with children, but I have had no problems with dogs, cats or other animals. I've even even met chickens and goats-they don't seem to bother me at all! My foster mom thinks I would likely do well with respectful children and a slow introduction. As I have come out of my shell I have shown my foster mom and dad that I can even be quite the silly goose! I like chew bones, but I really like to toss a ball into the air so it hits my back and falls off-that way I can run and chase it again! I don't seem to bark much, and loud/sudden noises don't seem to be an issue. Nap time is one of my favorite activities, and I walk extremely well on the leash. I never pull and I even do a little happy dance when you go to get my leash out of the closet! Right now I am best suited for short walks, but once I lose more weight my stamina will surely improve! Because I'm overweight, I need to be kept on a consistent diet and need just a bit more time managing longer sets of stairs, but I am determined to get better at this! I am house broken and my foster parents are so impressed with me being able to wait to go potty until they get home from work. I simply want someone to be around to love me and allow me to love you back. Just give me a chance! I'm so polite and well-mannered, and am a stunning girl who is sure to win over your heart. I am a happy-go-lucky girl, so let me show you how wonderful I can be!
