Lilo, formerly known as Porsche, is an eight-month-old female rottweiler and beagle mix, weighing about 37 pounds at her intake and still growing. Unfortunately, this is Lilo`s second stay at the shelter; she was first surrendered in April 2024 along with four siblings as part of an unwanted litter. Although she quickly found a home, she was returned on October 24 due to her owner`s personal circumstances. While in her previous home, Lilo was kept indoors and is reported to be potty trained. She is known to get along well with other dogs and has interacted positively with children aged two and up. Lilo hasn’t been around cats yet, but cat testing is available at the shelter. Currently feeling a `lil low`, Lilo is eager to find her forever family and is searching for the Stitch to complete her!

More about this shelter
The Daviess County Animal Shelter receives thousands of animals annually. Some of them are returned to their owners, some find new homes, but unfortunately some are never placed in a home. This is why it is so important that these animals find new homes.
