My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is typically quiet and reserved, but she has a strong prey drive. She might not be suitable for households with small animals or young children due to her tendency to chase. Missy can be a bit shy and is nervous around strangers. She sometimes barks at the doorbell and loud noises.

Missy has had some issues with eating dog food. She prefers home-cooked meals and being hand-fed, often enjoying chicken and rice.

Potential adopters should be prepared to continue working on her eating habits, managing her prey drive, and helping her feel comfortable around new people and in noisy environments.

Best living situation:
A fenced-in yard and leash walks are ideal.
She has been known to chase squirrels and neighborhood cats, and once she starts, it's hard to call her back (though this doesn't happen often).
She hasn't been dog-tested yet, but we plan to do that soon.
Behavior/Training:
Missy knows the "sit" command and enjoys treats, which can be a great motivator for further training.
She is good on walks and prefers to rest when she's not active. Not big into toys, but will occasionally play tug or run around with you.
Be cautious with her allergies; she sometimes reacts (scratches/licks) when outside in the grass for too long.
