Chico's arrival was a surprise; he was found at our front gate with his belongings and a note asking us to find him a loving home. While such a sad turn of events might have defeated any other dog, Chico remained resilient. It took him a few days to adjust, but once he did, his personality blossomed. Chico is an energetic senior who adores playing with his toys and snuggling in his bed. We cherish him dearly at the rescue, yet we eagerly await the day his permanent family discovers him, for he truly deserves all the love and attention in the world.
