Esme is the most stunning tabico we’ve ever seen and she could be yours!
She’s about 2 years old and was unfortunately returned to the rescue a few weeks ago after being in her adoptive home for a year due to no fault of her own. Her former owner did claim she was biting however she hasn’t exhibited a single concerning behavior since being back with the rescue, not even so much as a hiss towards any human let alone a bite despite being very scared and confused on arrival. We think she was simply unhappy in her home, especially when the dynamic changed, which caused her to act out.
Esme is actually sweet gentle soul who’s happy for human affection and even rolls over for you when she’s happy! Once she warms up she will rub all over you and has the cutest low meow. She’s a vocal girl who will make noise when she’s happy!
At this time, she’s shown us that she’s pretty reactive towards other cats (another problem that started in her original adoptive home as she was very cat friendly before being adopted) but if that changes we will let you know! For now she would need to be only cat in the home. She has not been tested with dogs so we are unsure how she would do living with a dog. Even though she’s shown no concerning behavior towards people since being back in foster, based on her prior owner claiming she bites, we will play it safe and say she would do best in a home without small children.
She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, & microchipped!
If you’re a laid back one cat kind of home looking for a low key playful & affectionate kitty - Esme is your girl!
