My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flora is the pumpkin-spiced pup of your dreams! Sure, she's a little shy at first-think of her as that quiet girl in the coffee shop sipping a chai latte and reading a good book. But give her a little time, and she'll be your ride-or-die for fall adventures! Once Flora feels at home, she's all about romping with her doggy roommates. If you've got another dog at home, even better-she's totally the type to join a squad and thrive.

Flora is leash-walkin' goals. Whether it's a stroll through the crunchy fall leaves or a quick pumpkin patch photoshoot, she's got that leash game down pat. Oh, and did we mention she's dog-door trained? This girl knows how to handle business like a pro.

She's just waiting to find her forever family-a cozy home where she can snuggle up after a brisk autumn walk and enjoy the magic of fall with you. Bring this sweet, latte-loving lady home today, and get ready for a season full of love and wagging tails!

Flora is ready to meet you-she's just waiting for the right family to fall for her!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
