Meet Milky Way!

Milky Way is a middle aged former mama cat that was found outside with her litter of SEVEN babies! She came into the rescue about a year ago with her kittens and they have all since been adopted.

While in foster care she did great with kids! She was able to co-exist with the other cats & the dog but wasn’t the biggest fan of them so would do well as your one & only or with another mellow cat that was respectful of her space.

She is a pot bellied girl who adores her human friends! She is very vocal and loves to greet her foster mom at the door!

We recently found out she does have hyperthyroidism and is on a monthly transdermal medication to keep her levels under control.

Her care would include her monthly meds (currently about $50/month) plus her routine appointments and blood work!

Her condition is very easily managed and she is so deserving of a loving home!

She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, & FIV/FeLV negative!

Our adoption process involves a thorough screening of every applicant to ensure our cats are going to the best homes possible. Our screening process includes, but isn’t limited to, background checks, property checks & veterinary reference checks. Once all has checked out we will contact you to schedule a phone interview.
