Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Romeo is a true lover boy who adores being the center of attention! This affectionate pup loves nothing more than to plop himself right next to you and soak up all the attention you can give. He's a people-person, always eager to be around his favorite humans. Romeo has a playful side too! He adores playing tag and running around, making him a perfect companion for active individuals or families. He seems eager to socialize with dogs and may do well with a furry companion. We are unsure how he does around cats. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Romeo is the perfect match. Come meet him today and let this charming dog sweep you off your feet!

WHO WE ARE
The Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) (formerly the Tippecanoe County Humane Society) was founded in 1939 by a group of local animal lovers in Tippecanoe County. Since its beginning more than 60 years ago, the organization has been dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community.
We are not a government agency, are not affiliated with any national organization, and we are not a United Way Agency. We are an open-admission shelter and we accept all animals in need, regardless of age, health or adoptability. As a local non-profit we exist through the generosity of our community.
MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS), care deeply about the comfort and rights of animals and citizens within our area. As such, we strive to enhance the relationship between people and animals through education, to control the pet population through responsible advocacy, and to provide sanctuary for unwanted, lost, and neglected animals.

The Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) is an independent, nonprofit agency. We are not funded by any governmental or national animal welfare organization. We are a private, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education, and we are governed by a volunteer board of directors.
