Valerie was adopted through us as a puppy and returned to us because all of sudden she didn't get along with their 20 lbs dominant female dog. She was best friends with their 10 year old dachshund. So far she gets along with fm/m dogs at our rescue. Valerie is just the sweetest and very affectionate!!!

Valerie was used to guard 10 ac in TX, chasing coyotes, deer etc. She even went after airplanes that flew over her previous owners property...... She doesn't like gun fire, thunder and fire works. She will roll over for belly rubs, sit for dog bones and comes when you clap your hand to call her.

As much as she liked to be outside, she also likes to be inside to snuggle with her people and sleep on her dog bed. She is the perfect snuggle buddy!!! Valerie would do best in an area with not much traffic, much room to run outside and go for walks as well. She walks nice on the leash until she sees something she gets scared of, like cars, trucks, bikes ......We are trying to work with her to get over her fear. This sweet girl is just begging for a new loving home!!!

A BIG 6 FOOT FENCED YARD/PROPERTY TO RUN AROUND IS A MUST!!
