Abbey is 3.4 pound chihuahua who will be 16 years old in June. She has recently gone through a big life change as her owner has passed away. She is struggling with separation anxiety and would do really well in a home where her owner is there most of the time. Preferably someone who is retired and has the time to give her the love that she needs.
For the past week, Abbey has been living with my boyfriend and I (her owner was his grandmother) but as each day went by we realized that this was not going to work with our busy schedules. To be fully comfortable and and relaxed, she would need someone to be with her more than we can be.
Abbey is a very sweet and tiny dog who is a great companion. We wish that we could stay home with her everyday but sadly we cannot. And we know that Abbey deserves more than what we can give her.
