Meet our beautiful girl named Marigold! Marigold is a gentle, sweet, and smiley girl who is sure to melt your heart! She is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves spending time with people. Marigold was originally found roaming in town, and her owner never came to claim her. We believe she is about 5 years old. Marigold is a playful dog, but she also has a sweet and gentle side to her which makes her the perfect family pet. Marigold can entertain herself with a nice toy and a comfy bed. She is a people-oriented dog who loves to meet new friends and receive lots of pats and affection. Marigold can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. Marigold has shown that she is uncomfortable with other dogs being in her close personal space. She is not aggressive towards dogs while outside in a large area, but at this time, we are looking for a home where she can be the only dog. Marigold is vaccinated against rabies and has tested negative for Heartworm and tick borne diseases.

Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
