My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Some big ol' boys!! This group of large kitties was surrendered on 4/5/2024. Their owner is in the early stages of dementia and the other owner is in very bad health so they couldn't care for them any longer. The owners loved these kitties very much but they lived in an outbuilding their whole life. This building didn't have any windows so the new world is frightening for them right now. They are slowly adjusting but will do best in a calm home where they can have the time they need to adjust to a normal life style. They are over weight so a limited diet would be best for them. They are loving kitties just very scared being here.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
