Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ophelia (born around February of 2011) is a black and white chihuahua who came to Safe Haven with her six other chihuahua housemates when they were all surrendered by their owners. She is looking for a forever family who will dote on her, give her plenty of cuddle and lap time, and make her golden years the best of her life.

Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary (SHAS) is a no-kill, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1996, and is the largest and longest-running no-kill facility in the Las Cruces, NM area. SHAS provides medical care, food, shelter and comfort to nearly 90 homeless cats and dogs of our community, while seeking caring homes for them.
