My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yoda!
Yoda (7 years, 95 Lbs.) is in need of an experienced German Shepherd owner. Yoda is a good boy with some previous training but would definitely need his forever person to be experienced with his breed and ready to handle him. He's a big boy who needs someone to put the effort and time in to make him the perfect companion!
Schedule a meet and greet with Yoda by calling (706)265-9160 or emailing info@dawsoncountyhumanesociety.org!

More about this shelter

We are a group of dedicated volunteers that worked for 6 years to raise enough money to build an animal shelter in a County in Georgia that did not have one. We are a 501c3 Non-profit organization. We operate primarily on donations and gifts.
We believe EVERY animal deserves a home. We do everything possible to make certain they have a second chance at a happy life with a family that will love and care for them.
The greatest reward for us is a happy ending, a smiling cat or dog that has found love and companionship and brought a ray of sunshine into a home.
