My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, Smart, Independent, Quiet, Couch potato

Shelley is definitely a people cat. It's hard to even go to the bathroom without her jumping in a lap, trying to get snuggles. She does use biting as her love language, but they are nibbles or love bites. She gets along with other cats and dogs, but she would be fine on her own since she really just wants people attention. She is full-grown, spayed, and UTD on shots. She is an adult, so we have discounted her fee to $50. She is ready to be adopted ASAP!  https://forms.gle/6KEoxXPD6iPaoK8m6

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please reach out and we can answer any questions you have about the potential pet before submitting an application.

2.

Interview

This may also be back and forth messaging for both of us to get clarification (yea technology). Home checks can be virtual as well.

3.

Approve Application

4.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is refundable in the event the adoption is not finalized after the home trial.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Home trials are 1-2 weeks to determine if the cat is a good fit. Adopters can exchange a cat that is not a good fit during this time frame.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

If you choose to move forward with the adoption then this is the last step. CONGRATULATIONS!

Additional adoption info

We do allow cats to be foster-to-adopt after 8 weeks of age, if they are utd on vaccines, until they are spayed or neutered (4 months +) and receive final vaccines. After this, the adoption can be finalized.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable or abused, injured, have a disability or terminal illness, or are in need of medical care.

We are a no-kill care program and work hard to rehab and rehome as many cats as possible. We are all volunteers so we rely completely on donations.

Watch for postings of our adoptables daily! We want to help them find the right homes quickly so we can help more kitties!!

We are very fortunate that many times we see cats go from scared garbage kitties to beautiful loving cats and we want them to find great homes quickly...so we don't get too attached!!!
