My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Gib, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! Let me give you a little peek into my world. First things first, I've got a bit of a bark to me - I just like to make my presence known! When it comes to toys, I'm all about the stuffed animals with squeakers! They are so attention getting and fun to play with!

Now, when we're out for walks, I can't help but get excited when I see those pesky squirrels. I feel sort of the same with cats. I shouldn't live with cats or other small animals, they really just aren't for me.

I'll be honest, I do like my personal space, so I'd prefer to be around older kids who understand that. I especially am not comfortable with kids right in my face and can be a little grabby taking treats or toys and may scare them without meaning to as well. Personal bubble aside, I'd love to be wherever my people are. I'm a loyal shotgun rider too! I love feeling the wind in my fur as we cruise along. As for potty training, I'm still getting the hang of it, but I'm a smart pup. I'll paw at the door when nature calls, so you'll know when I need to go out.

Now, when it comes to strangers, I may not be the most welcoming at first. But once I get to know you, I'm fiercely loyal and protective. I'll always have your back! When you have friends or family over go very slow with them and me so I can learn they are a part of the pack! So if you're looking for a loyal companion who's full of energy and ready for adventures, then look no further! I'm here, waiting for someone special to give me the love and care I deserve. Are you the one for me?
