This adorable young lady is Sophie, she is the happiest dog you’ll ever meet which means her tail is alike to a weapon! Sophie thrives when outside in the grass where she can roll around and chase toys. Her enthusiasm is limitless as is her affection. Sophie will climb into anyone’s lap and even onto a picnic table to lick the faces of those closest. Sophie gets along with just about any dog she has interacted with, but that isn’t to say she may be selective in the future. Sophie has been paired next to the shyest of resident canines and brought out their inner puppy. She is still working on her leash manners!
Please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.
