My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oso the small water bear is happiest on long walks or when there`s a kiddie pool and stuffies in the yard. He`d love to zoom around and play tug with you!

@vcanimalservices

Oso is an energetic, playful dude who has been patiently waiting to meet his people since March 2024. He looooooves the water! Find him posted to vcas.us/shepherdweek. Come visit in Ventura County, California to learn more ??

More about this shelter

Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) operates two shelters within the county. The large main shelter in Camarillo houses over 400 pets and the administrative offices. Our smaller facility in Simi Valley houses nearly 40 pets at a time.

Each year, Ventura County Animal Services cares for more than 10,000 animals. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and find life-long homes for as many animals as possible, while providing proper care during their stay.
