My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buckley, a dark grey Tuxedo, is a sweet cat with a lot of potential! He was found in a "family" of kittens/cats including 9 kittens with two moms. Buckley arrived July 1 2023 into foster care with Catty Shack. He's now in a safe situation where he can get the care and patience he needs. Being part of a large group of kittens can sometimes make it a bit overwhelming for a shy one like him. With time and gentle encouragement, he’ll likely become more confident and social. He is certainly "a work in progress" and would love his own home with patient people. Come see Buckley at Catty Shack Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10-2. You can also inquire about him through this site or cattyshackrescue.org. Yavapai County residents only please.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit group of unpaid volunteers who have come together to rescue cats from the street. Our group rescues cats already in trouble through abandonment. We saw a need in our community for cats on the street with no advocates to be helped through sheltering, spay/neuter and placement in homes of their own.
