My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Happy!

This sweet tri-pawd kitty came to us after a Good Samaritan dropped her off at a local vet and then transferred to Hitchcock Road Animal Services where it was confirmed she had a fractured front forelimb. Happy has made amazing strides following her amputation and is now on the lookout for her furever home!

Happy is a very low-maintenance kitty who's as happy as can be despite her rough beginnings! She's the best lap-kitty and would love to find an owner who can provide the lap! Happy loves playing with toys ranging from balls to strings, making an effort to show her amazing skills even with three legs!

Happy would do fine in a home with both dogs and cats, but should be introduced to any new siblings slowly over time. Adult adopters or families with children over the age of 10 would be best for Happy.

Happy is currently in foster care. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
