Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Courage is quite a spirited super-mut! He's going to be the perfect adventure buddy. His enthusiasm for walks and play is evident, though managing his initial excitement on walks will take some patience and consistent training. It's great that he enjoys toys like the soccer ball and responds well to treats and training cues like "sit."
Since he may need some guidance with dog greetings, introducing him to other dogs should be done carefully and gradually. It's good to check with the adoption coordinator for any additional insights from his interactions with other dogs like ARI and SHILOH. With structure and routine, Courage will likely thrive and become a wonderful companion for an active family!
Courage's adoption fee helps cover his neuter, microchip, and all shots. He really wants to find his forever family. Could he be part of yours?
https://www.hsnb.org/adoption-application You should receive a confirmation email from HSNB if your application was successfully submitted. If you do not receive confirmation from us, please email adoptions@hsnb.org for assistance.

Additional adoption info
We test animals for the following:
Dogs: Good with other dogs, possibly cats, food aggression, walks on leash, noting any other attributes we may know.
Cats: Good with other cats, litter box trained, noting any other attributes we may know.
We cannot test if any animal is good with children. We may know if an animal is possibly house trained, but cannot guarantee any animal in the shelter is house trained. We do not know if a dog is good with cats unless we are advised by a person surrendering the animal. We may have an idea of this depending on how the dog reacts to our community cats that live on the property.
