LuLu -Paws Behind Bars Trained

Lulu is German Shepherd mix, and as such, she is a smart, athletic, bundle of energy. Although she is a puppy, our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program is the perfect place to let her grow up. She quickly mastered her obedience training and is able to work on her social skills in all different kinds of situations.

LuLu will do best in a home with an owner who has good dog experience, preferably with working breeds. We already see that If LuLu isn't "working, she is looking for puppy mischief. She will need plenty of physical AND mental exercise. At her age, she can be successfully introduced to other dog(s) in the home but we are recommending young male dogs. We do not think she's a good fit for small children or cats. Her home will need a fenced in yard. Most importantly, she needs an owner who will maintain her training and understand her high drive to please and "work".


IMPORTANT: Please Keep in mind LuLu is under an year old with a life expectancy of 12 + years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for our rescues and the families, including a home that can stay committed to the animal for life.
