Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Ace. I'm about 14 years old and I was adopted along with my sister Adele to my first mom Cathy when we were kittens. Two years ago, our Mom Cathy passed away. We were left in our home when she passed, being cared for by our sweet neighbors. When one day they came in to find that Adele had passed away. I was alone. As everyone searched for a new home for me, my Mom Cathy's best friend Dolores, decided to adopt me. She brought me home to be with my new kitty brother Brooklyn (orange cat in pics). I was very very shy at first. Only coming out at night to eat and explore. Brooklyn and I liked each other off the bat, but I was really shy for about 6 months. Around 6 months, I started to hang out from a distance with my new Mom Dolores and my little brother Brooklyn. By the time I was there 9 months, I began sleeping with Mom and Brooklyn every night and Brooklyn and I became best friends. It was the happiest two years of my life! Sadly, my new Mom Dolores passed away last month. Again, I was left alone in the house with my brother Brooklyn, while our neighbor angels fed us. Unfortunately Brooklyn became diabetic and needs daily medication and extra care than just a few visits a day from our neighbor friends. So, Brooklyn was taken to be in a home where he can have that extra care. I'm desperately seeking a new family.
I do well being a single cat but I'd also be a great brother to another kitty. If the kitty loves companionship, I'm their perfect sibling! It will probably take me a while to come out and be open to pets and love. Since this is the second time this has happened to me, I'm not sure if it will be a quicker or longer transition for me. I'm a perfect kitty, I'm handsome and fun once I warm up to you. I don't have a mean bone in my body (ok, I may hiss here and there out of fear of new things, but I hiss and run away to hide). I'm tired of being alone in my house, it's really sad for me. It reminds me of my Mom and my brother and I just want a new family of my own, hopefully for good this time.
My health is good and I'm no problem at all. I'm a perfect sibling or great as an only kitty. I do enjoy all of the attention for myself since Brooklyn is getting medical care. I do like to run into a quiet room, so if you have a downstairs or extra room that I can call my own while I get used to you, that'd be perfect for me. I come with a kitty tree, kitty beds, my favorite toys and support from my God-Mommy Jennifer. I really deserve a new home. I've been a perfect boy for my two moms and just want someone to love me forever this time.
