Hello, I am Felix James, a very handsome 8-year-old tabby cat! I was diagnosed in October of 2023 with diabetes and was surrendered to the shelter in November of 2023 when my owners moved. I have been living in my foster home since November of 2023 with several other cats, some with diabetes too! I am a lap cat and enjoy my people time. I like to climb my tree tower and watch the birds and deer outside to pass the time. I am a very confident cat and get along with the other cats in my foster home. I use my scratching pole and my litter box. I would do best in a home with older children as I do get excited at times and give `love nips`! I LOVE my feline friends, so much so I would love to find my FURever home with my foster brother, Tigerstripe. I know we need some extra care, but we have extra love to give! I do need to have my care monitored by a veterinarian to keep me in good health! We can eat a good quality cat food that can be brought at your local stores just like other cats! We just need to keep an eye on our carbs! Please keep us special needs kitties in mind when you are looking to adopt! My adoption fee has been graciously sponsored in hopes I find a loving home soon!
