My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yes, she is real!  This little fluff is Peanut, a senior Applehead Chihuahua.  3 pounds of love.  Somewhere between 10 and 13 years old, this little girl is looking for a loving home for the rest of her life.  She is housebroken (likes to go outside, not pee pads), sweet and gentle. 
 She came into rescue with tummy problems which we are straightening out (her blood work looked great!) and next this little girl will get a dental.  We believe she is spayed (but are not yet sure) and we do not think she is vaccinated.  She is good with other small dogs and seems to like all people.  Low energy (though we are hoping that will pick up as she is feeling better!).  

Applications for Peanut are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.  This little girl is not appropriate for homes with small children.
