My name is Hussar!

Hussar, a male Pyrenees mix not quite a year old, boasts a wonderfully easy-going nature. Rescued from a neglectful and abusive situation where he was constantly chained outdoors, he's now seeking a forever home to provide the love and care he needs to thrive as the sweet and joyful dog he truly is.

He's currently in a foster home with two other large dogs and gets along great! His experience with cats is limited, so he hasn't been tested around them.

Hussar is both playful and calm with children, having aced the lively 5-year-old test!

He revels in playtime, adores affection, and enjoys spending time in the yard, now free from chains. He has a fondness for women but remains slightly wary and cautious around men due to his past.

Fed separately due to a bit of treat-envy, he's nonetheless an excellent companion for other dogs.

His preferred foods are Open Farms and Stella and Chewy.
